  • BODNAR, JOHN BERNARD, 79, of Floral City, died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at Mariner Health Care of Inverness. Born in Johnstown, Pa., he came here in 1986 from Clermont. He was a retired computer systems analyst in the heavy equipment industry and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Buchanan Moose Lodge and Our Lady of Fatima Parish. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include two sons, Victor J., Mishawaka, Ind., and William J., Niles, Mich.; a sister, Helen J. Delic, Johnstown; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.   • HAZELETT, ELIZABETH L., 68, of Homosassa, died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. Born in Parkersburg, W.Va., she came here 14 years ago from Orlando. She was the owner of a beauty salon in Orlando and member of the Christian Center Church of Homosassa Springs. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Harold R.; three sisters, Mildred Thomas, Pittsburgh, Mammie Knotts, Parkersburg, and Eva Ozman, Indiana; three nephews and two nieces; and a grand-niece.   • NAST, JEAN B., 86, of Beverly Hills, died Friday (March 14, 2003) in Beverly Hills. Born in Ratcliff, Texas, she came here 19 years ago from Chicago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and bowling. She was a longtime member of the Beverly Hills Illinois Club and was Protestant.   • SHELLABARGAR, FRANK R. "FRANKIE RICHARDS," 88, of Crystal River, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (March 18, 2003) at Cypress Cove Care Center, Crystal River. Born in Springfield, Ohio, he came here three years ago from St. Petersburg. He was the owner and operator of a Gulf Service Station in St. Petersburg and Ohio. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He played the saxophone in a 16-piece band known as "Frankie Richards and the Tom Kats" in St. Petersburg. He was a member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge F&AM.   • SPIRES, EDA I. "EDITH," 90, of Encinitas, Calif., formerly of Inverness, died Sunday (March 16, 2003) in California. Born in New York City, she moved from Inverness in 1996 to California and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 65, the Inverness Womens Club and Hernando First United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Robert H., Tulsa, Okla., and Gregory W., Encinitas; a daughter, Elaine Carol Heavner, Washingtonville, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.   • WILLIAMS, DOYNE G. "WILLY," 66, of Crystal River, died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at Shands at the University of Florida, Gainesville. Born in Keo, Ark., he came to Florida in 1985 from England, Ark. He was a retired Navy veteran who achieved the rank of commander with 22 years of service. He served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War as a pilot. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal and Navy Achievement Medal. He served as the action officer for the commander and chief of the Pacific Fleet. He was a member of the MACV staff. He was a world traveler, an avid reader, a hunter and loved aviation. He was a member and chairman of the Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board, member the Association of Naval Aviation and Tailhook Association. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a daughter, Kristy Fairchild, Crystal River; two sons, Cort Williams, Memphis, Tenn., and Kevin Surrency, Crystal River; two brothers, Don, Little Rock, Ark., and Russell, Orange Lake; a sister, Dorothy Jordan, Benton, Ark.; and five grandchildren.   • CENTANNI, MICHAEL J. JR., 80, of Spring Hill, died Monday (March 17, 2003) at Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill. Born in Newark, N.J., he came here 12 years ago from Bloomingdale, N.J. He was the retired owner and operator of Precision Sheet Metal and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Butler, N.J. He retired from ComEnergy Systems, Cambridge, Mass., and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a school bus driver in Hernando County for 10 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10209 and was an Episcopalian. He worked as an organic chemist for Eastman Kodak for 25 years and was a member of the Holy Ghost Church Mens Club in Rochester, N.Y. He moved to Brandon a year ago. She was an adjunct professor in the Political Science Department at Hillsborough Community College and Florida Metropolitan University. She was a level 10 women's gymnastics judge and a member of the National Association of Woman's Gymnastics Judges for 15 years. She judged for the USAG, AAU, and YMCA programs and volunteered her time in many local gyms to support young athletes.     • GRIESMYER, THE REV. CANON ORIN ANTHONY, 94, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (March 12, 2003) at Suncoast Manor. He was an Anglican Catholic Church priest and served parishes in Kansas, New York and Illinois and was the founding vicar of the Anglican Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Ocala. He graduated from Colorado State with a bachelor's degree and received a bachelor of divinity degree in 1931 from Seabury Divinity School. He earned his doctorate of divinity from Seabury-Western in 1964. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Doris; a son, Roland; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
