  • GELINAS, REGINA MARIA, 43, of Crystal River, died Friday (March 14, 2003) at home. Born in Panama, she came here two years ago. She earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Suffolk University, Boston, and a master's degree in law from the University of Panama. She was a legislative assistant in the Panamanian Congress. She was an active member of the Panamanian community.   • HAMILTON, CHARLES, 75, of Homosassa, died Wednesday (March 19, 2003) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. He came here 30 years ago from his native Mill Creek, Ind. He was a mail carrier in Mill Creek and an Army veteran of World War II. He was past commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 139. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Chassahowitzka. He was the owner/operator of an automotive body and paint shop and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist. He was a retired plant manager at 3M Corp. with 46 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.   • HILL, ERNEST, 80, of Gainesville, formerly of Spring Hill, died Tuesday (March 18, 2003) at home. Born in New Bedford, Mass., he moved recently from Spring Hill, where he lived since 1996, to Gainesville. He was an orthotist for Orthopedic Services of Rhode Island and was an Army veteran. He was the recipient of the 1991 Alzheimer's Award (the Gregory Hill Caregiver Award) for outstanding work. He was Catholic. He was a 1982 graduate of Largo High School and played trombone in the Marching Band of Gold. He was a member of St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church.     • HALL, JAMES, 66, of Homosassa, formerly of Largo, died Thursday (March 20, 2003) at Largo Medical Center. He was born in Turtle Creek, Pa. He moved to Largo in 1977 from Ohio and lived there until 1996 when he moved to Homosassa. He was a former owner of Halls Nautical Upholstery in Largo. He was a Navy veteran.     • LENTZ, DORIS J., 87, of Seminole, formerly of Palm Harbor, died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at Largo Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, she came to Palm Harbor in 1985 from New Jersey and moved to Seminole in 1990. She served in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps during World War II. She graduated from West Chester University in 1950. She was an elementary school teacher and a junior high school guidance counselor. She was a member of Kappa Delta Gamma. He was a lieutenant junior grade with U.S. Naval Intelligence during World War II. He graduated cum laude from Harvard University, earned his law degree from Yale University School of Law and practiced law in New York and Texas.     • ADAMS, BENJAMIN SR. "HENRY," 70, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (March 20, 2003) at home under hospice care. He was a maintenance worker for Sears and the St. Petersburg Times. He was a member of the Gibbs High School Class of 1952. An Air Force veteran, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
