Arts&Entertainment: March 27, 2003 'Seussical' has something for everyone, unfortunately
TAMPA -- Seussical is a good-natured mess. It's fun for a while to revisit the fanciful tales of Theodor Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss, but the Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical runs out of steam long before the finale in which Horton the Elephant saves Whoville.

Michael Moore helps band go 'Boom!'
One of the most provocative, political hard rock bands today, System of a Down, is in cahoots with Academy Award-winning documentary director Michael Moore. The band, of Armenian descent (recognize its members by their interesting beards), recently had Moore direct the video for its antiwar tune Boom!. This week, Moore won an Oscar for Bowling For Columbine, a documentary examining gun violence in America and got some boos for his antiwar rant onstage.

Kirk Douglas has revealed that he attempted suicide after his recent stroke, reports the New York Post, but was saved by a tooth.
