McFALL, RALPH EDWIN, 80, of Beverly Hills, died Tuesday (March 25, 2003) in Lecanto. He came here in 1978 from his native Indianapolis. He was a retired engineer for Chevrolet with 36 years of service and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of F&AM and the First Christian Church of Inverness. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Florence H. (Wilson); a son, Mark G., Homosassa; two daughters, Jo Ellen Knight, Homosassa, and Sue Ann McFall, Beverly Hills; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. NACZI, WILLIAM JOSEPH "BILL," 88, of Floral City, died Tuesday (March 25, 2003) at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Born in Wallingford, Conn., he came here in 1972 from Arkville, N.Y. He was a retired engineer from Grumman Aircraft and was a member of St. Andrew's Ukranian Catholic Church of Brooksville. HAGEN, AFTON L., 84, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (March 25, 2003) at home. Born in Pittsburgh, Ill., she came here in 1926. She was a coal miner's daughter. She worked at Brooksville Drugs and Restaurant, the Shopping Basket and D&K Shoes. She attended the New Hope Baptist Church. LAWSON, WILLIAM JAMES JR., 85, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (March 25, 2003) at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in Brooksville. Born in Malden, Mass., he came to Florida in 1982. He was a graduate of the Bay Path Institute of Business. He was a retired insurance manager for Burdic Insurance Company of Boston with 14 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served as a captain in Medical Administration. He was a member of Satuitic Masonic Lodge for 47 years. He was a past association president of Southway Villa Estate of Brooksville and an adviser to the Satuit Demolay Masonic Group. He was Protestant. LINDOW, CLARENCE E., 74, of Spring Hill, died Monday (March 24, 2003) at James A. Haley VA Medical Center, Tampa. Born in Binghamton, N.Y., he came here seven years ago from Matamora, Ind. He was a retired forklift operator for Knuff Fiberglass in Shelbyville, Ind. with more than 15 years of service. He retired from the Army with 21 years of service. He served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a life member and Honor Guard of VFW Post 10137. He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles and Moose Lodge. LOISELLE, NORMAN F. SR. "NORM," 67, of Spring Hill, died Sunday (March 23, 2003) at home. Born in Pawtucket, R.I., he moved to Florida two years ago from Barrington, R.I. He was a retired Air Force veteran achieving the rank of sergeant and served in the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW and DAV. He was Christian. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, Norman F. Loiselle Jr., Pawtucket, R.I.; a daughter, Virginia L. BURKHOLDER, MILDRED OLWEN, 93, of Plant City, died Tuesday (March 25, 2003). Born in Alberta, Canada, she moved to Tampa in 1968 and Plant City in 1979. She was a member of Plant City Women's Club and First Baptist Church of Plant City. She sang in choirs for more than 75 years and served as a church visitor and greeter. UHLER, HARLAN "REX", 64, of Safety Harbor, formerly of Tampa, died Sunday (March 23, 2003). He was born in Conway Springs, Kan., and moved to Tampa in 1982 from Peoria, Ill. He moved to Safety Harbor in 1994. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, retired from the Falk Corporation after 33 years of service and served as a board member of the Safety Harbor Museum of History. He was a toolmaker for the Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 36, Polish-American Pulaski Association of Holiday, and Polish Legion of American Veterans, Orloski Post 184 New Port Richey. He was Lutheran. He was a metal model maker for Chrysler with 43 years of service. He was involved with the formation of Hernando-Pasco Hospice in 1984. He was active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and with the West Pasco Audubon Society. Born in Cardano-al-Campo, Italy, he moved to Port Richey one year ago from St. Petersburg where he lived for 25 years. He was a superintendent for the New York City Housing Authority. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an active member of St. Jude Cathedral and a member St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. He worked as a sales office manager for Smith Industries Aerospace. He was active for many years in community theater, locally at the Francis Wilson Playhouse, Clearwater. - BREDEMEIER, THE REV. CHRISTIAN W.A., 94, of Crystal Beach, died Wednesday (March 26, 2003) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. He was born in Hamlin, Germany, and came here in 1957 from Limona. He received a bachelor's degree from Tampa University and attended Nyack (N.Y.) Seminary. He was a former pastor of Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church, Chicago, and Limona Evangelical United Brethren Church, Brandon. For 20 years he was chaplain at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. He founded and was a former pastor of Crystal Beach Community Church and was conference superintendent for the Florida Conference of Evangelical United Brethren. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs, the Crystal Beach Community Church, and the Tarpon Springs Rotary Club. - WILLETT, RONALD LEE, 57, of Indian Rocks Beach, died Sunday (March 23, 2003) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, after he was found unconscious a few blocks from his home with blunt trauma to the head. He came here in 1980 from his native Flint, Mich. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a certified public accountant and owned RLW Financial Services in Indian Rocks Beach. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Accountants, the Gulf Beaches Chamber of Commerce, the Young Republican Club in Largo, Rotary Club International of Belleair Bluffs, the Largo Chamber of Commerce and served on boards and committees for the city of Indian Rocks Beach. He was a volunteer for the annual Beauty and the Beach festival. Survivors include a son, Tony, Phoenix; a daughter, Monica Spiegel, Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Robert, Hudson, and Jack, Billington, Mich.; a stepsister, Minnie Baughman, Port Richey; three grandchildren; and a companion, Debra Frisk. He worked as a toolmaker for Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., and was an Army veteran of World War II. - UHLER, HARLAN "REX," 64, of Safety Harbor, formerly of Tampa, died Sunday (March 23, 2003) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Conway Springs, Kan., came to Tampa in 1982 from Peoria, Ill., and moved in 1994 to Safety Harbor. He was a mechanical engineer and retired in 1998 after 33 years with the Falk Corp. He was a Navy veteran with the rank of ensign and served as chief engineer aboard the USS Lyman K. Swenson from 1962 to 1964. He graduated in 1961 from Kansas State University. He was a former board member of the Safety Harbor Museum of History. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Sally; a son, Jeffrey, Clearwater; a daughter, Kris Uhler, Evanston, Ill.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. - SOLLID, FAYE, 89, of Seminole, formerly of Clearwater, died Monday (March 24, 2003) at Largo Medical Center. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., she came here in 1966 from Arlington, Va. She was a homemaker and a member of Seminole First Baptist Church. She earned a master's degree and was a member of the Clearwater Beautification Committee, the Audubon Society, the Parliamentarians and several genealogical organizations. She lived in India for five years as part of a U.S. aid program.
