BEHRENS, CECELIA V., 95, of Beverly Hills, formerly of Holiday, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at Mariner Health and Rehab Center, Inverness. Born in Baltimore, she moved to Holiday in 1969, and then came here in 1991. She was a retired salesperson for Hutzler Brothers Department Store, Baltimore. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Citrus Springs, and a former member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, New Port Richey, West Pasco Maryland Club, and Orangewood Civic Association, Holiday. Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Wieland, Beverly Hills, and Dorothy Jenks, Fort Lauderdale; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandchild. Thomas B. BLACK, MALCOLM MICHAEL, 79, of Crystal River, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at home. Born in Flushing, N.Y., he came here 17 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a retired foreman for New York Telephone Co., a Navy veteran of World War II, and Catholic. He was a life member of Blanton-Thomas American Legion Post 155, VFW Post 8189, Crystal River, and West Citrus Elks Lodge 2693, Homosassa Springs. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Muriel (Schumacher); four sons, Michael, England, Jeffrey, Marietta, Ga., Carey, Missoula, Mont., and Malcolm, Scappoose, Ore.; two daughters, Patricia Black, Bemidji, Minn., and Deirdre, Missoula; and nine grandchildren. DUFOUR, NORMA MAY, 78, of Inverness, Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., she came here in 1990 from Deltona. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. JOHNSON, VIRGINIA A., 70, of Citrus Springs, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. Born in Warwick, R.I., she came here nine years ago from Richmond, R.I. She was a homemaker, a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Carl Rose Post 4252, Hernando, and Catholic. DEBELLO, GIOVANNINA J. "JENNY," 79, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in New York City, she came here 18 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She worked for 10 years at Burdines, New Port Richey, and was Catholic. Survivors include two sons, Nicholas, Florida, and Robert, Spring Hill; a sister, Gloria Marino, Spring Hill; and five grandchildren. She was a retired nurse and graduate of York Hospital Nursing School, York, Pa. COSPER DONNA R., 89, of Brandon, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003). She was a homemaker and lived in the Tampa area for two years after coming from Washington. LONGHI, MARSHA K., 50, of Spring Hill, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (April 1, 2003) at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. Born in Ripley, Miss., she moved to Spring Hill 17 years ago from Tampa. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service at the Masaryktown substation and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. MCCARTNEY, ROBERT CRAIG, 60, of Tampa, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at University Community Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of the Tampa area. He attended Catholic seminary at St. Leo's College. He was a veteran and worked for General Electric as a dispatcher. Survivors include his father, Robert McCartney; his mother, Bertha Chapman; a son, Brian C. McCartney; a daughter, Star Borg; his brother, James McCartney; and a sister, Loretta McCartney.

RODRIGUEZ, GREGORIO, 46, of Plant City, died Thursday (April 3, 2003). Born in Mexico, he worked as a truck driver and was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. SANTANA, LUIS ANGEL JR., 33, of Tampa, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003). He was a native of New York and moved to the Tampa area in 1995. He was Catholic. SOTO ANA L., 58, of Valrico, died Friday (April 4, 2003). She was born in Puerto Rico and came to the Tampa area from Chicago in 1993. She was a homemaker and member of Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon. ADKINS, GARY L., 55, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Wichita, Kan., he came here 27 years ago from Jacksonville. He was a painter for Alexander Homes, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of D.A.V. and New Life Ministries of Hudson. Survivors include his wife, Linda; a daughter, Karen Seeberger, Brooksville; two brothers, Perry, Lawrence, Kan., and Lance, Madisonville, Texas; two sisters, Hazel Row, Missouri, and Nancy; and three grandchildren. DICKERMAN, GERTRUDE M., 97, of New Port Richey, died Friday (April 4, 2003) in New Port Richey. Born in Hardwick, Vt., she came here in 1966 from Colchester, Vt. She owned a resort on Lake Champlain for more than 27 years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of New Port Richey, where she served in the Women's Ministry. JUST, JOSEPH, 83, of St. Petersburg, formerly of New Port Richey, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at home under hospice care. Born in Romania, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1990 from New Port Richey. He owned a barbershop. He was Catholic and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Eva; three nephews; and three nieces. Memorial Park Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.
KEPPLER, EDWIN ROBERT, 81, of Port Richey, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, New Port Richey. Born in Providence, R.I., he came here in 1986 from Pittsfield, Mass. He was a Brown University graduate, a sales representative, an Army veteran of World War II and a translator at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II in Germany. KRISA, NICHOLAS, 85, of Port Richey, died Saturday (April 5, 2003) at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey. Born in Jermyn, Pa., he came here in 1988 from Little Falls, N.J. He was a machinist for Bendix Aviation Corp. and a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church, New Port Richey. MURDOCK, VERA, 77, of Hudson, formerly of Spring Hill, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at home. Born in Chicago, she came here in 1981 from Spring Hill. She was a retired administrative secretary for Southwest Water Management. She was founding member and benefactor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and its treasurer for many years. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8681, Shady Hills, and American Legion Post 0335, Hudson. Survivors include her husband, Paul; three sons, Rodney Downs, Coral Springs, James Downs, Eau Claire, Wis., and Thomas Murdock, Tampa; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. PAYNE, CLARENCE P., 67, of Clearwater, formerly of Hudson, died Monday (March 31, 2003) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Flint, Mich., he moved to Clearwater from Hudson 15 years ago. He was retired after more than 30 years as fire protection sergeant for the Fischer Body Division of Pontiac Motors, Pontiac, Mich. He was an Air Force veteran. He was past commander of AMVETS Post 16, Hudson, and a member of VFW, B.P.O. Elks Lodge 2520, Aripeka, and F.O.E. SHANNON, BARBARA A., 70, of New Port Richey, died Sunday (March 30, 2003) while vacationing in the Caribbean. Born in Reading, Pa., she came here from West Lawn, Pa. She was a 1950 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading, and was a secretary to the superintendent of schools for the Wilson School District. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. CAMPBELL, FLORENCE, 99, of Eureka, Ill., formerly of Clearwater, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at Maple Lawn Health Care, Eureka. She was born in Fulton County, Ill., came here in 1956, and returned to Illinois in 1992. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross for more than 40 years, both in Canton, Ill., and Clearwater, sewing and knitting for the organization. She was also a volunteer for the Clearwater Community Hospital for 25 years and a former member of First United Methodist Church of Clearwater. Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyn Clary, Washington, Ill.; three sisters, Margaret Schmidt, Moline, Ill., and Viola Gaskill and Josephine Fish, both of Canton; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. ELLIS, OMA VIOLA, 85, of Clearwater, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at Largo Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Pinellas County. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunset Point Baptist Church, Clearwater. SEIFERT, MARK J., 53, of Clearwater, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. He came here several years ago from his native Erie, Pa. He worked as a mechanic for Allied Precision, Dunedin, for 12 years and was a Navy veteran. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Jameson, Dunedin; a son, Jesse, Dunedin; his mother, Jean, Palm Harbor; two brothers, Jimmy, Largo, and Earl, Dunedin; a sister, Susan Stacey, Palm Harbor; and a grandson. WATERMAN, STUART, 73, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Clearwater, died Thursday (March 27, 2003) at the Medical Center of Lewisville, Texas. He was born in Holly Hill and moved to Lewisville in 2002 from Clearwater. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He was a member and past master of East Gate Lodge 355 F & AM, Clearwater, and a member of Queen Esther Chapter 4 OES, Clearwater, St. John's Commandery 1, North Providence, R.I., Scottish Rite Bodies, Corning, N.Y., Sons of American Colonists, Society of Mayflower Descendents, Clearwater, and Boy Scouts of America, Clearwater, where he received the Silver Beaver Award. She was a former manager of several mobile home parks and campgrounds. She worked as a night manager for Howard Johnson Restaurant in Clark, N.J., and managed several dental practices in Florida. She retired from the Clearwater Police Dept. after working for the Investigations Division, Office of the Chief and the Patrol Division, Patrol Commander's Office after serving 18 years. She was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor and the Knights of Columbus, Ladies Auxiliary. - GIBSON, JOHN CLAYTON, 43, of Tallassee, Ala., formerly of Tarpon Springs and New Port Richey, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at home. He was born in Tarpon Springs and moved from New Port Richey to Tallassee. He was an ordained minister. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two stepsons, Brandon Parrott and Bryan Parrott, both of Tallassee; a stepdaughter, Christina Rhodes, Tallassee; his mother, Faye Gibson Young, Tarpon Springs; three brothers, Jamie and Richard, Tallassee, and James, Hudson; two sisters, Cindy Wells, Naples, and Jackie Katona, New Port Richey; and a step grandchildren. KYLE, MARGARET STICKNEY, 93, of Bellevue, Wash., formerly of Pinellas Park, died Tuesday (April 1, 2003). Born in Gloucester, Mass., she lived here for 17 years before moving to Bellevue. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Kyle White, Medina, Wash., and Margaret L. - FORD, SARAH A., 75, of Hamilton, Ontario, a seasonal resident of St. Pete Beach, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena. Born in Hamilton, she has been a seasonal resident here since 1967. She was a secretary for her husband's photography company. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Anthony; two sons, Anthony, Cornwall, Ontario, and Kevin, Burlington, Ontario; a daughter, Shari Henry, St. Pete Beach; two sisters, Isabelle Kadouk and Florence Ditta, both of Hamilton; and five grandchildren. - WARREN, ARNOLD, 81, of St. Pete Beach, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena. He came here in 1978 from his native Knoxville, Tenn. He worked for South Central Bell Telephone Co. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Jayne; a son, Rockwell, Knoxville; a daughter, Vanessa Warren, Denver; a stepdaughter, Wendy Woody, Knoxville; a brother, Jack, Florida; a sister, Thelma Morgan, Clinton, Tenn.; and his stepmother, Margaret Patlow, Dunedin.
