  • BROSIOUS, CHARLES, 77, of Floral City, died Saturday (April 12, 2003) at home. Born in Sunbury, Pa., he came here four years ago from Allentown, Pa. He was a district manager for the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He and his wife owned Ruth's Ceramics, Salisbury Township, Pa. He was an EMT for the Salisbury Township Fire Department One for 30 years. He was a member of the Fountain Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include a son, Daniel, Floral City; a daughter, Sondra Stephen, Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Jane Stocker, Floral City, and Sylvia Reed, Bethlehem, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.   • EMBERLEY, CHARLOTTE ANN, 72, of Beverly Hills, died Saturday (April 12, 2003) in Crystal River. Born in Saugus, Mass., she came here seven years ago from Holliston, Mass. He was a locomotive engineer for the Soo Line Railroad with 42 years of service, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Grace Bible Church of Homosassa. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and retired as administrator of buildings and properties for the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Springfield. He was a member of the Rays Crew for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and was a volunteer at the Corner of Hope food pantry, Tampa. He was a member and an usher at Victorious Life Church, Wesley Chapel, a member of the I.B.E.W., the Rotary Club in Springfield, and was active on the Lake Heather Tax Board.     • WAINSTOCK, MAYME, 90, of St. Petersburg, died Friday (April 11, 2003) at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in Duluth, Minn., she came here in 1979 from Minneapolis. She was a housewife and a former volunteer of Maggie's Closet Charity Thrift Shop. Survivors include a son, Dr. Peter Morley, Falls Church, Va.; a brother, Steven Recko, Clearwater; two sisters, Donna Recko and Mary Recko, both of Kissimmee; and a grandchild.     • WALLIS, JACK A., 72, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rochester, N.H. He was a 1949 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. He retired from the Army and served in Korea and Vietnam. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Barbara; two sons, Marc A., St. Petersburg, and Paul D., Pensacola; a daughter, Deborah Bancaccio, Pinellas Park; and six grandchildren.     • AKERSLOOT, PORTIA M., 84, of Seminole, died Monday (April 14, 2003) at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. She came here in 1959 from her native Chicago.     • HEBBEL, EMIL E. JR., 84, of Seminole, died Monday (April 14, 2003) at Largo Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, he came here in 1989 from Milmont Park, Pa. He retired after 43 years as a mechanical engineer for General Electric Co. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was an avid stamp collector and held six U.S. patents. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joan; a daughter, Joanne Valunas, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; three sons, Emil E. "Bud" III, Chadds Ford, Pa., James M., Seminole, and Kenneth T., Glenn Mills, Pa.; a brother, Kenneth T. Hebbel, Largo; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.     • LAWS, PEARL, 93, of South Pasadena, died Monday (April 14, 2003) at Pasadena Manor Nursing Home. Born in Jamaica, she came here in 1988 from Jamaica, N.Y.
