X Files: Leo speaks up for the environment
Leonardo DiCaprio is set to guest-edit National Geographic Kids magazine in a bid to prompt his younger fans to become more environmentally conscious. The green-minded movie hunk, who drives an electric car, is hoping kids will pick up the magazine and learn just how easy it is to care about the environment. Thrilled editor Melina Bellows says, "He was really into it from the start, telling us, 'You have to get this generation of kids interested in the Earth if we want (the Earth) to be around for their kids.' Leonardo thinks it's up to this generation to make a difference." The new magazine hits newsstands across America next month.
