He was employed in the construction business. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Science in Inverness.   • SERGIO, ARTHUR ANTHONY, 90, of Inverness, died Tuesday (May 6, 2003) at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Born in Scranton, Pa., he came to Florida in 1973 from Bayshore, N.Y. He was a maintenance supervisor for the Kollsman Instrument Co. with 25 years of service. He later owned and operated Advanced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in Inverness. He was a member of the Florida Sheriffs Association, American and Italian Social Club of Citrus County, and Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Survivors include his daughter, Rita Heath, Inverness; a son, Arthur J., Spring Hill; two sisters, Mary Marrone, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Grace Lagola, Rocky Point, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.   • DOUGHERTY, EUGENE F., 92, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday (May 6, 2003) at home under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here in 1971 from Huntington, N.Y. He retired from New York Telephone Co. He was one of the founders of the American Telephone Workers Union and was charter president of the New York Telephone Workers Union. He served on the war labor board during World War II. He was a member of the Footlight Community Theater, New York, and member of Spring Hill Choral Society. He was a Hernando-Pasco Hospice volunteer in the Bereavement Group and worked with handicapped children. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Kirleis, Spring Hill, and Eileen D. Maloney, Camarillo, Calif.; a sister, Gladys Fennimore, Lynbook, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was a member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Alpha Chi Sigma Chapter, Alpha Beta Fraternity and the American Chemical Society.     • GETZ, KATIE "KITTY," 84, of Seminole, died Wednesday (May 7, 2003) at home. She was born in Gamoca, W.Va., and came here in 1969 from Baltimore. She was retired after 12 years as secretary for the Florida Health and Rehabilitation Services Department. She was a Navy WAVES veteran of World War II. She was a member of the auxiliary at American Legion Post 273 and Women in Military Service for America. Survivors include a son, John M. Getz, Seminole; three daughters, Sally Winters, Columbia, Mo., Judy Getz, Baltimore, and Bonny G. Salmeri, Seminole; a brother, Ed Sadler, East Bank, W.Va.; four sisters, La Homa Coppins, Homosassa, Ruby Green, Knoxville, Tenn., Ann Fallen, Hurt, Va., and Nellie Stanley, New Castle, Va.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo.

    Treasure Island

    • DANSEREAU, RICHARD F., 64, of Treasure Island, died Wednesday (May 7, 2003) at Bayfront Medical Center. He was born in Fort Yates, N.D., and came here 13 years ago from Memphis. He was a member of Church by the Sea in Madeira Beach. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Buganski. Abbey Affordable Cremation and Funeral Services, Largo.
