  • DiLORENZO, LARRY, 79, of Crystal River, died Sunday (July 6, 2003) at the Ocala Regional Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here 33 years ago from Queens, N.Y. He was the former owner and operator of Suncoast Signs in Crystal River for 20 years (1972-1992). He was an Army veteran of World War II. He had been a member of Americans of Italian Descent of Citrus County, the Civitan Club of Crystal River, the Nature Coast Racers Fling Club of Inglis and a charter member of the former Crystal River Yacht Club. He was Protestant. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Earlene; three daughters, Lori and Sandra, both of Orlando, and Rita, Queens; two stepdaughters, Dalene and Sheri, both of Crystal River; three sisters, Mary and Grace, both of Queens, and Lou, Spring Hill; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.   • DOELFER, LILLIAN, 70, of Hernando, died Sunday (July 6, 2003) in Hernando. She came here from her native Jersey City, N.J., and was a retired bookkeeper. She was Catholic.   • FRAZIER, STEPHEN SHAWN, 44, of Inverness, died Sunday (July 6, 2003) at home under the care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Born in Pensacola, he came to Citrus County recently from Conyers, Ga. He was a restaurant chef and a Marine Corps veteran.   • PALIWODA, M. JOHN, 84, of Beverly Hills, died Wednesday (July 2, 2003) in Crystal River. He came here in 1976 from his native Cleveland. He was an inspector with Honeywell International, Cleveland. He was a Navy Seabee veteran of World War II and a former Merchant Marine Seaman 2nd Class. He had been a volunteer with the Beverly Hills Fire Department. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.   • SALISBURY, KENNETH B., 79, of Inverness, formerly of Clearwater, died Friday (July 4, 2003) at home. Born in Butte, Mont., he came to Florida in 1951 from Minneapolis. He was a retired tool and die maker and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks, Veterans of Foriegn Wars Post 10209 and the American Legion. He was Catholic.   • HILDEBRAND, CHARLES "CHARLIE," 87, of Spring Hill, died Friday (July 4, 2003) at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in Brooksville. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a tax accountant for Chase Manhattan Bank with 38 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a master mason, a member of the American Philatelic Association, an assistant troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Born in Trenton, N.J., she was the owner and operator of Dreyer and Associates Court Reporters. She also established the Dreyer Scholarship Award and was actively involved at Berkley Prep. She was a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the National Court Reporters Association and the Florida Court Reporters Association. She received the National Leadership Award from President Bush, with a request to join his Advocacy Council in Washington, D.C. She was also the co-owner of the Cracker House on MacDill Avenue. She retired as a proofreader for the communication division of the American College of Emergency Physicians at Michigan State University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hudson.     • MURRAY, EDITH FRANCES, 73, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (July 6, 2003) at home. She was a native of St. Petersburg. She was a retired lab technician. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 104 and Elks Lodge 2217, both in Pinellas Park.     • SHELTON, MILDRED, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Friday (June 27, 2003) at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was born in West Virginia and came here more than 25 years ago from Ohio. Survivors include four brothers, Don and George Fisher, both of Newark, Ohio, Robert Fisher, St. Petersburg, and Ray Fisher, Georgia; a sister, Mary Nola Linderman, St. Petersburg; 18 nieces; and a nephew.     • SKUJA-WALLACE, ANDA, 63, of St. Petersburg, died Friday (July 4, 2003) at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Riga, Latvia, she moved here in 1991 from Rosemont, Ill. She was a former artist and school teacher in Chicago. She was a member of Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of St. Petersburg and the Imeria Sorority. Survivors include a son, Guido O.     • SWETLAND, ANTHONY LEE, 19, of Tarpon Springs, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Friday (July 4, 2003) at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. He was born in St. Petersburg and was a lifelong Tarpon Springs resident. He graduated in 2002 from Tarpon Springs High School and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs. Survivors include his parents, Rhonda and Paul, and a sister, April Swetland, all of Tarpon Springs; his paternal grandparents, Edith and Robert Swetland, Odessa; and his maternal grandparents, Charlsie and Ronald Brown, Ocala.     • WIELAND, EMMA MARY, 90, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (July 5, 2003) at Bayfront Medical Center. She was born in Budapest, Hungary, and came here in 1972 from Cleveland.     • HOTTIN, ANNA aka ANNE F. PETZNICK, 88, of Seminole, died Saturday (July 5, 2003) at Wright's Nursing Home in Largo. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and came here in 1979 from Middle Village, N.Y. She was a retired bookkeeper of Trucking Body Manufacturing Co. of Brooklyn. She was a member of Oakhurst United Methodist Church of Seminole. Survivors include her husband, Edward; a son, Bruce Petznick, Middle Village; and three grandchildren. Lewis W.     • STARNES, OWEN JAMES, 82, of Lake Panasoffkee, formerly of Seminole, died Thursday (July 3, 2003). He was born in Campbell, Mo., and was a resident of Sumter County since 1975. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was the founder of Starnes & Son Sheet Metal of Lake Panasoffkee and Pinellas Park, and a farmer. Survivors include three sons, David and Stephen, Lake Panasoffkee, and Joe, Seminole; two daughters, Anne Kelly, Salem, Ore., and Mary Beth Briggs, Dallas, Ore.; two brothers, Burl, Pontiac, Mich., and Bill, Caraway, Ariz.; two sisters, Barbara Sue Gillis, St. Louis, and Flora Pollara, Kenai, Ark.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.     • TURNER, DONALD E., 73, of Seminole, died Monday (July 7, 2003) at Largo Medical Center. He moved here from his native New Castle, Pa. in 1964. A graduate of Youngstown University and California State Teachers College, he became the industrial arts and drafting teacher at Seminole High School for 23 years until his retirement in 1992. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed flying and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and Lodge of the Craft 0433 F&AM. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Doris; a daughter, Lynn Bruno, Pensacola; and four grandchildren, Robert, Shelby, Michael and Jason, all of Florida.     • WISE, MAURICE E. "BILL," 81, of Bayonet Point, formerly of Seminole, died Saturday (July 5, 2003) at Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center. Born in Richmond, Ind., he moved to Seminole in 1944 and to Bayonet Point in 1992. He was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church, Masonic Northside Lodge #283, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and participated in the atomic tests in the South Pacific. Survivors include his wife, June J.; two sons, Michael J., Kingman, Ariz., and Daniel E., Gernel, Ill.; a daughter, Billie Jean Matsik, Hudson, Fla.; a sister, Mary Vivian Heacox, St. Petersburg; seven grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
