PALM HARBOR - A 79-year-old man was charged Tuesday afternoon with exposing himself to an 11-year-old girl in a thrift store. Lyle S. Morrow of Holiday was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a felony charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition. He was being held there Wednesday in lieu of $20,000 bail. Pinellas County sheriff's deputies said a woman and her 11-year-old daughter were at the Last Chance Thrift Store, 36500 U.S. 19, at about 3 p.m. Tuesday. The woman saw an elderly man in the store expose himself to her daughter. The mother yelled at the man to get away from the girl. The flasher, later identified as Morrow, ran from the store, deputies said. The mother and other patrons chased him to a nearby gas station, where they detained him before deputies arrived, sheriff's officials said.
