Team pop trivia

By GINA VIVINETTO
Published January 1, 2004

This week's winner: David S. Knight of Clearwater knew that Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics were in an earlier Scottish band in the late 1970s called the Tourists.

This week's question: Blondie this weekend brings its timeless art-punk sound to Jannus Landing. The group is fronted by the fabulous Debbie Harry, who's always had a second gig acting. Harry appears briefly in a hilarious bit as a randy older woman opposite Elijah Wood in the upcoming Try Seventeen. The film also stars another singer-actor - one who, coincidentally, recently recorded Blondie's One Way Or Another. To enter your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, name the singer.

Fax entries to Team Pop Trivia, 727 892-2327, e-mail gina@sptimes.com or mail to: Team Pop Trivia, c/o Weekend, St. Petersburg Times, P.O. Box 1121, St. Petersburg, FL 33731.
