Epiphany Day events
Tarpon Springs' annual Epiphany celebration commemorating the baptism of Christ is scheduled for Tuesday. Here are the events:

1. The Divine Liturgy will be at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral at the corner of Alt. U.S. 19 (Pinellas Avenue) and Orange Street.

2. The service is followed by a parade to Spring Bayou, a blessing of the waters and a dive for the Epiphany cross, which will begin sometime after noon.

Glendi, a festival of food, live music and dancing, will be in Craig Park after the cross dive.

3. Parking will be available along some side streets and in paid lots. Trolley service will run to Epiphany festivities from a city parking lot on Live Oak Street, east of N Pinellas Avenue.

Sidewalk restrictions:
Because of ongoing repairs to the sidewalk and seawalls around Spring Bayou, a stretch of sidewalk north of the ceremonial platform overlooking the bayou will be off-limits to spectators during Tuesday's Epiphany festivities, officials say.
