Bloomingdale boys first in the nation in coaches' rankings

Bloomingdale is ranked first in the nation in winter boys soccer in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, according to the organization's Web site, www.nscaa.com

The Bulls, who recently won the Admiral Student Invitational tournament, moved up from fifth the previous week.

Jesuit was tied for 10th in Region I. The NSCAA ranks teams in four regions. Two other state teams, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas (fifth) and Miami Sunset (eighth) were ranked in the nation's top 10.
