PATRIOTS: Offensive lineman Damien Woody was listed as doubtful Wednesday amid reports he will be out until next season with a knee injury.
Bill Belichick would not elaborate on the injury, but the official injury report gives Woody a 25 percent chance of playing. Russ Hochstein, who started one game this season at left guard, could start in Woody's place.
"We finished the game with Russ the last week, so that's probably where we'll start then this week," Belichick said.
Woody was hurt on the first play of the 17-14 win over the Titans. The Boston Globe reported Woody had a partial tear of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee that will not require surgery but will keep him out of the rest of the postseason. Woody was unavailable for comment.
Asked about the injury Sunday, Belichick said, "If it was a broken leg, I'd tell you he had a broken leg. It's not a broken leg."
Hochstein has played 14 games this season.
"I'm a backup, so I'm just doing what I can and doing what's asked of me," he said. "I've filled in in a number of spots, so this is just part of the game for me."
COLTS: Receiver Brandon Stokley missed practice to be with his hospitalized baby son.
"It is relatively serious, but I guess that I would rather not go into all the details in respecting their family's privacy," Tony Dungy said.
One-month-old Cameron Stokley was admitted to a hospital Tuesday.
"He is doing fine right now, doing better, and so we'll just have to see how it goes," Dungy said.
Stokley has three touchdowns in two games.
Tight end Marcus Pollard sat out with a sprained right ankle, as did defensive backs Idrees Bashir (shoulder), Walt Harris (knee), Nick Harper (back spasms) and Donald Strickland (knee).
