A VIDEO OF PUCCINI'S "LA BOHEME' will be shown at 12:30 p.m. today at the Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, 1.2 miles east of U.S. 19, Holiday. The production by the Australian Opera Chorus and Orchestra sets the opera in 1950s Paris and features pop singer David Hobson as Rodolpho. Admission is free.

"CHICAGO,' a musical, through Feb. 22 at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Jan. 29 (just added), Feb. 5, 12 and 19; 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Jan. 24; and 3 p.m. Sundays. THE 24TH ANNUAL BROOKSVILLE RAID Civil War reenactment battle and encampments will start at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Sand Hill Scout Reservation on State Road 50 east of Weeki Wachee. WORKS BY FOUR ARTISTS continues at Greater New Port Richey Main Street and Progress Energy Arts Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The artists are painter George Holmberg, photographer Kelly M. Maki, potter Christa Stanelun and jeweler Liz Dono. Viewing is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through Jan. 30.

WORKS BY 19 ARTISTS continue through Jan. 31 in the foyer of the West Pasco Government Center, 7530 Little Road. Most of the paintings can be purchased. The exhibit is sponsored by the Pasco Arts Council.

"BEYOND THE BED: STATE OF THE ART QUILTS' continues through Feb. 21 at Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays), and at the library at Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey (9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays; and 2-5 p.m. Sundays). The shows features 50 quilted works by 22 quilters from across Florida. Receptions for the artists are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pasco Arts Center.

AUDITIONS FOR THE OPERA Fallen Fairies will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. RICHEY SUNCOAST THEATRE and the Pasco Education Foundation, Inc. will hold auditions for high school-aged students who want to be in the variety show, Ticket to Broadway, at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the theater, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Those who audition should use the material they plan to use for the show, which will be presented Feb. 13, 14 and 15 at the theater. Proceeds from the show will establish a scholarship fund through the foundation for students who plan to study the performing arts. Performers may sing, dance, play a musical instrument or do comedy or drama. They may perform alone or in pairs or groups. ANGEL CABARET THEATRE will hold auditions for the comedy Holy Cannoli at 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at theater, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. Roles are available for one male and one female who can appear to be between ages 40 and 65 and are "Italian New Yorker" types. Production dates are Feb. 26-March 28. All performers are paid. STAGE WEST COMMUNITY PLAYHOUSE will hold auditions for the comedy I Hate Hamlet at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 and 1 p.m. Jan. 31 at the theater, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill.
