An upcoming PBS documentary on Tupperware got us thinking about the lasting popularity of burpable bowls.
Today, much fun is poked at Tupperware parties, relics of the days when women stayed home with babies and didn't have the Internet to do their shopping. How quaint.
In reality, Tupperware turned many housewives into businesswomen and gave them an opportunity to make money by working on their own terms.
Are you one of those women? Or did you cringe when the invitation to the Tupperware party came? Are you still using vintage Tupperware? You know, the pieces with the faint pastel lids?
If so, we'd like to hear from you. Mail your stories and memories of the beloved kitchenware to Tupperware Tales, Taste Section, St. Petersburg Times, P.O.
