LAWRENCE, Kan. - Tony Dobbins' fadeaway jumper with a second left gave Richmond a 69-68 victory over No. 12 Kansas on Thursday night, snapping the Jayhawks' 52-game home winning streak against unranked opponents.

Mike Skrocki scored 23 to lead the Spiders (10-8), who became the first unranked team to win at Kansas since Nebraska on Feb. 10, 1999.

With Kansas (11-3) clinging to a 68-67 lead and the shot clock running out, Aaron Miles tried a 3-pointer that Dobbins blocked. Miles got the ball back, but there wasn't time to shoot again and Richmond got the ball on a shot clock violation.

Dobbins dribbled into the lane, spun and swished the winner. Kansas had time for one inbounds pass, but the Jayhawks' Wayne Simien was called for a pushing foul and Richmond ran out the clock.

NO. 2 STANFORD 67, UCLA 52: Justin Davis made his first nine shots on the way to 21 points, and the host Cardinal stayed unbeaten.

Josh Childress started for the first time this season for Stanford (15-0, 6-0 Pac-10), one of two undefeated Division I teams with third-ranked Saint Joseph's. Childress came off the bench in five games as he regained his strength after a foot injury that sidelined him for nine.

The preseason All-American scored 14 and added six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 32 minutes.

Dijon Thompson scored 10 of his 15 in the second half for the Bruins (9-5, 5-2).

NO. 14 ARIZONA 109, OREGON ST. 75: Salim Stoudamire and Hassan Adams scored 20 each, making 16 of 21 shots, to lead the Wildcats to the rout.

The Beavers lost their 21st in a row at McKale Center. Oregon State (8-8, 2-4 Pac-10) hasn't won at Arizona (12-3, 4-2) since 1983, the season before Lute Olson became Wildcats coach.

ALABAMA: Top scorer Earnest Shelton sprained a ligament in his right knee against Georgia and is doubtful for Saturday's game at Mississippi. Coach Mark Gottfried said it's unclear when the junior guard will be able to return.

State

GEORGIA ST. 66, JU 58: Nate Williams scored 12 to lead a balanced attack as the visiting Panthers (12-4, 7-2 Atlantic Sun) won their sixth straight. The Dolphins (6-10, 1-8) pulled within 58-53 with 2:20 left, but the Panthers converted two layups and Herman Favors made four consecutive free throws in the final 1:45.

STETSON 77, MERCER 68: E.J. Gordon and Anthony Register scored 18 each to lift the host Hatters (7-8, 5-4 A-Sun) to their fifth consecutive victory. Wesley Duke had 20 points and Bobby Hansen 17 for the Bears (7-11, 4-5).

Nation

UTAH: Coach Rick Majerus was cleared in a university investigation into a complaint by a former player who claimed the coach berated him about his partial hearing loss. Athletic director Chris Hill confirmed there was a university investigation, launched after a complaint by center Lance Allred after the 2001-02 season.

OBITUARY: Dan Buckley, who holds the coaching wins record at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with 126, died in Kings Point, N.Y. He was 79.
