- You want to hear something scary for Bucs fans? Terrell Owens has named the Falcons among the teams he is interested in joining. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Owens has a relationship with Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and had a relatively controversy-free 2002 season under receivers coach George Stewart. Stewart, a personal friend of Owens, is now in Atlanta.
- The rich could get richer. The Patriots have seven picks in the first four rounds and have linebacker Rosevelt Colvin returning from injury.
- Talk about a quarterback dilemma. The Browns are hoping that Tim Couch will take a pay cut, but they are not sure just how much they should ask the former No.1 overall pick to give up. Get this, under his current contract, Couch will make $7.6-million in 2004 and $8-million in 2005, the final two years of his original seven-year deal. Clearly, the number is too high for a quarterback who can't keep his starting job. The Browns likely will ask Couch, represented by Tom Condon, to shave that down to between the $2.5-million-to-$3-million range.
