The guarantee

Ever since Joe Namath guaranteed a Jets victory over the heavily favored Colts in Super Bowl III, then made good, reporters have sought out the brashest participants looking for similar storylines. But this year's crew hasn't even produced decent locker room material. The most head-turning comments probably came from Panthers special teamer Jarrod Cooper, who Tuesday declared his love for pop star Christina Aguilera.
