Celebration: Today at Ruth Eckerd Hall, everything centers around Pilobolus, a dance show. A lecture on dance, including a discussion with artists, directors, technicians and educators, is scheduled at 7 p.m. The cost for that is $3.50. At 8 p.m., the show itself begins. Pilobolus is a dance extravaganza featuring sculpted bodies that twist into mind-bending shapes. A fluid dance begins to emerge. Tickets for the show cost $35 to $40. Customers can choose to attend any or all activities. Show: Legendary performer Ann-Margret will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Hot on the heels of her theatrical debut in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, the film and television star returns for a Vegas-style show. She'll sing songs including I Feel Like A Woman and Viva Las Vegas. Tickets are $39-$45. VIP seating is $100. The hall is at 1111 McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. Sunday Goes Pop: Remember the Hit Parade? The glory days of the popular radio show will be brought back to life at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Paul Wilson (son of news anchor John and Mary K. Wilson) will be the announcer, interpreting some Sinatra favorites and taking you back to the nostalgic era, recalling the music of some of the United States' most beloved performers. PICNIC IN THE PARK: The public is invited to bring picnic dinners from 6 to 8 p.m. today to Largo Central Park and enjoy the new "music in the park" sound system while having a cozy candlelight dinner. ART SHOW: See hundreds of tiny paintings, sculptures and more at the 29th International Miniature Art Show runs through Feb. 8 at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, on the St. Petersburg College campus. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 seniors, free for children and students. ART EXHIBIT: Clay and Paper presents "A Passion for Pottery," an exhibit featuring art by 10 Southeastern potters included in Kevin Hluch's book, The Art of Contemporary American Pottery. This exhibit is a companion to the "Power of Pottery" show curated by Hluch at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. The exhibit continues through Feb. 29. Applications for 2004-2005 scholarships are available for graduating high school students planning to enter the engineering field and transferring junior college students entering some engineering programs in Florida schools.

CLEARWATER - The Suncoast String Band, performing in Pinellas County for more than 25 years, needs musicians who can play saxophone, banjo, violin, guitar, accordion and drums. Rehearsals are from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at Clear Bay Terrace, 1770 Betty Lane N.

The band performs music from the 1920s to the 1990s for area groups and organizations.

Deadline is March 1 for senior tax exemption

For the third year in a row the cities of Dunedin, St. Petersburg and St. Pete Beach will offer a Limited Income Senior Exemption for 2004 if you are a property owner 65 or older.

This exemption does not automatically renew like the homestead exemption does, so even if the exemption was received last year, a new application must be made for 2004.
