KEY INJURIES: Tampa Bay - None. Washington - G Sebastien Charpentier (leg, out); D Sergei Gonchar (shoulder, out); C Michael Nylander (leg, out).

THE LOWDOWN: The Capitals are without D Jason Doig, sitting out the second of a two-game suspension. ... Washington is 3-4-0-1 in its past eight games and 3-4-2-0 in its past nine at home, with three straight losses. ... C Robert Lang has points in 10 of 11 games, with five goals, 11 assists. ... The Capitals allowed 11 power-play goals in their past eight games. ... Washington's 20 home points are second worst in the league. ... The teams are 1-1-0-0 this season. ... Entering Monday, Lang was second in the league with 62 points and led with 31 power-play points. ...
