RESERVATIONS FOR THE Performing Arts Guild of Pasco County's Valentine luncheon show at Spartan Manor are required by 5 p.m. today. The luncheon show is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Entertainment is by soprano Suzanne Ruley, who will sing Valentine music, according to guild president Josephine Troster. Spartan Manor is on Massachusetts Avenue in New Port Richey. IRISH STEP DANCING, CLOGGING AND TAP DANCING will be featured in Dancing on Common Ground, an anthology of dance to be presented at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pasco-Hernando Community College's Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The 10 dancers will show the relationships between several dance forms. Admission is $12, $14, and $16. THE STORY OF MADAME MARIE CURIE, who pioneered the use of radiation in medical therapy, will be performed by professional actor Susan Frontczak at three venues this week. Ms. Frontczak will perform the two-hour, one-woman show at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Chapel Worship Center, 6825 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey; at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs, 4651 Little Road, New Port Richey; and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. A RECEPTION FOR ARTIST Roxanne Harmon and jewelry designer Toni Young will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Progress Energy Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The exhibit of Ms. Harmon's original oils, acrylics and mixed media works and Ms. Young's jewelry continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through Feb. 27.

THE ART OF RECYCLING creative art show, which promotes recycling by inviting high school art students to use recycled materials to create art, continues through Feb. 26 at the West Pasco County Government Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey. Winners share $3,000 in prizes.

THE INTERNATIONAL MINIATURE ART SOCIETY'S show continues through Sunday at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, with hours extended to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $5 adults, $4 seniors, free to children and students with ID. FOUR QUILT SHOWS ARE BEING HELD FRIDAY AND SATURDAY in Pasco County. Beyond the Bed: State of the Art Quilts continues through Feb. 21 at Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays), and at the library at Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey (9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays; and 2-5 p.m. Sundays). The shows feature 50 quilted works by 22 quilters from across Florida. Also, the 14th annual Quilt Show and Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village, off U.S. 301 north of Dade City. The show features Hoffman Collection Quilts, dolls and clothing. Admission is $5 in advance, $6 at the gate. Parking is free. Finally, the West Pasco Quilters' Guild Inc. will hold its eighth biennial quilt show, Sew Many Quilts 2004, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park, 14333 Hicks Road, Hudson.
