ADVERTISING

FKQ Advertising and Marketing, Clearwater, has announced the following appointments: Jennifer Stefanac, media planner/buyer; and James "Courtney" Perigo, media/research coordinator. Also, Doug Cline has been promoted to junior media planner/buyer. Stefanac was a media buyer for Anson-Stoner, Winter Park; Perigo was a research analyst for Media General, Tampa; and Cline was a media coordinator.

CONSTRUCTION

David Pelletz has been promoted to president of the Tampa Bay operations for Westfield Homes of Florida Inc. Pelletz was executive vice president of operations.

Krissie Pente has been named club manager for Seven Oaks, Wesley Chapel. Pente was club manager for Club Tampa Palms, Tampa.

LEGAL

M. Sean Moyles has been named a partner at the law firm of Zinober & McCrea PA, Tampa. Moyles was an associate and practices in the areas of labor and employment law.

Edward M. Waller Jr. received the 2004 Tobias Simon Pro Bono Service Award, the state's highest award for contributions in making legal services available for those who could not afford them. This is the first time a lawyer from Hillsborough or Pinellas county has received this award. Waller, a shareholder, is head of the health care practice group and class-action/complex litigation team for the Tampa law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker.

OFFICE SERVICES

Dan Polen has been named a partner at Tatum CFO Partners LLP, Tampa. Polen was vice president of finance and corporate secretary at Crown Marketing Group, Clearwater.

ORGANIZATIONS

Jeanette M. Flores has been elected to the board of directors of the Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa, a not-for-profit community-based organization that provides job training, affordable housing, youth development and small business training. Flores is a shareholder and practices in the area of real estate for the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Nancy Biesinger has been elected to the board of directors of the Tierra Verde Community Association, where she will be chairwoman of the governmental affairs committee. Biesinger is president of Franklin Affiliates Inc., Tampa.

RECREATION

Jeanne Cosenza has been named sales manager for the Bayou Club, Largo. Cosenza was general manager for membership sales at Pebble Creek Golf Club, Tampa.

TECHNOLOGY

Melissa McKay has been promoted to vice president for 1 Nation Technology Corp., Oldsmar. McKay was sales manager.
