Accident victim, 43, in fair condition

NEW PORT RICHEY - Police have identified the victim of a traffic accident on Valentine's Day. Daniel J. Pope, 43, was in fair condition at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa on Wednesday.

Pope was crossing U.S. 19 about 9:22 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by a car, police said. He was not at a marked crosswalk, police said.
