Patients sleep on the concrete outside the Partners In Health Hospital in Cange, Haiti to be the first in line for help the next morning. Each morning there is a crowd of people at the admissions window, waiting to see a doctor. In 2003, the hospital saw nearly 1,000 patients a day. People travel for hours by foot, donkey and truck to the hospital.
