Janet Reno to headline Young Democrats event

ST. PETERSBURG - Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno will speak Saturday at St. Petersburg High School in an event presented by the school's Young Democrats club. The event, free and open to the public, will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 2501 Fifth Ave. N.

State Rep. Frank Peterman, D-St. Petersburg, and Carrie Wadlinger, a candidate for Pinellas County clerk of circuit court, will introduce Reno. A reception will be after the speech.
