Associations team to educate public on wills, health care

By Times Staff Writer
Published February 26, 2004

The Florida Bar and the Florida Medical Association have combined to sponsor a public service campaign to educate people about the benefits of preparing living wills and designating health care surrogates.

The Florida Bar Speakers Bureau has recruited members of its elder law, health law, and real property, probate and trust law sections as volunteer speakers to civic, professional, social and community organizations on this topic, at no cost.

Those who would like to have a volunteer speaker address their organization should contact Gail Grimes at ggrimes@flabar.org or 850 561-5767 or by fax at (850) 561-5733.
