A 68-year-old man was extradited to Pasco County from San Francisco to face a capital sexual battery charge from 1991.
Madaleno Contreras Sr. of Modesto, Calif., was booked into the county jail early Friday with bail set at $25,000.
The rape involved a 4-year-old Pasco girl, Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Doll said. Doll said he could not obtain more information Friday.
