KEY INJURIES: Tampa Bay - D Jassen Cullimore (bruised right shoulder, day to day). Colorado - D Bob Boughner (knee surgery, out); LW Travis Brigley (back, day to day); C Peter Forsberg (groin, day to day); RW Dan Hinote (concussion, out); LW Brad Larsen (groin, out); C Andrei Nikolishin (abdominal strain, day to day); RW Marek Svatos (shoulder surgery, out).

NOTES: Fredrik Modin, Dmitry Afanasenkov, Tim Taylor and Ruslan Fedotenko scored in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Avalanche on Jan. 19 in Tampa. The game ended on Milan Hejduk's penalty shot. ... Colorado lost 5-4 in overtime Saturday at Columbus. ... Modin's two goals in a 4-2 victory over Washington on Saturday gave the Lightning five players with 20 for the first time. ... Tampa Bay leads the Southeast and is tied for the third-most points in the East with Boston and Toronto. The Avalanche leads the Northwest and is second in the West. Both teams have 82 points. ... Could this be Forsberg's last game against the Lightning? A Swedish newspaper reported he has committed to playing with Modo in his home country's Elite League next season even if there is no work stoppage. ... The Avalanche has points in 35 of its past 43 games. ... The Lightning is 20-4-1-4 since Jan. 1.
