BROOKSVILLE - On Saturday, 60 residents converged at the Supervisor of Elections' Brooksville office to cast votes in advance of the March 9 Democratic presidential primary and the county and school half-cent sales tax ballot questions.

Monday, 47 people voted at the Brooksville office, and 134 voted at the supervisor's Spring Hill location, officials said.

Voters wishing to cast their ballots early may do so between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays at the Hernando County Government Center, Room 165, 20 N Main St. in Brooksville. The service is also offered at the Spring Hill office, 7473 Forest Oaks Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

The Spring Hill office will also offer early voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Voters must produce an ID with a photo and signature, or a combination, one ID with photo and one with a signature.
