Bulls release 2004 schedule

Published March 2, 2004

TAMPA - South Florida's 11-game football schedule for 2004 was set Monday when Conference USA released its full schedule.

USF's eight C-USA games mirror last season's at the opposite location. The Bulls host Southern Miss (Oct.2), Army (Oct.16), East Carolina (Nov.13) and Memphis (Nov.27). USF travels to TCU (Sept.25), Louisville (Oct.22), UAB (Nov.6) and Cincinnati (Nov.20). The Louisville game is on a Friday night on ESPN or ESPN2, with TV coverage for the remaining games to be announced.

The Bulls have two nonconference games at home, the season opener Sept.4 vs. Pittsburgh and Sept.11 vs. I-AA Tennessee Tech. USF travels to South Carolina on Sept.18.

USF plays five bowl teams from 2003: Pittsburgh (Continental Tire), TCU (Fort Worth), Southern Miss (Liberty), Louisville (GMAC) and Memphis (New Orleans). The Bulls were 7-4 last season, 5-3 in C-USA. This is USF's second and final season in C-USA before joining the Big East.
