DALLAS - Nina Norman and Tiffany Jackson scored 16 each to help No.2 Texas beat Iowa State 64-54 on Wednesday in the Big 12 tournament semifinals.
Norman had 10 second-half points and Jackson converted 8 of 11 free throws for the Longhorns (27-3), who trailed by as many as seven in the first half.
Lyndsey Medders had 12 points and Lisa Kriener added 11 points for the Cyclones (15-14).
Top-seeded Texas meets Baylor tonight. The Bears beat the Longhorns by 14 on Jan.14 in Waco, then lost by a point in double overtime Feb.25 in Austin.
Iowa State went 9 minutes, 37 seconds without scoring at the end of the first half and early in the second until Erica Junod's layup with 16:48 left ended the drought and pulled the Cyclones within 38-31.
Texas went on an 11-6 run, capped by three straight field goals from Norman, for a 49-37 lead, and Iowa State never got closer than seven the rest of the way.
NO.7 LA. TECH 100, BOISE ST. 56: Amisha Carter scored eight during a 23-0 run to end the first half, and Louisiana Tech rolled in the quarterfinals of the Western Athletic Conference tournament.
Tech (25-2) won its 17th consecutive game and established WAC tournament records for points in a game, margin of victory and points in the first half (66).
Boise State (9-20) committed seven consecutive turnovers during the half-ending run and 33 for the game to lose to Tech for the third straight year in the conference tournament.
NO.8 KANSAS ST. 79, MISSOURI 58: Kendra Wecker scored 25 and the Wildcats built an early 22-point lead in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinal.
Laurie Koehn added 15 points, Nicole Ohlde scored 14, and Megan Mahoney had 12 assists for Kansas State (24-4).
Stretch James had 18 points and Evan Unrau 17 for the Tigers (17-12).
NO.19 OU 63, NO.13 COLORADO 56: Caton Hill scored 10 of her 17 in a key second-half run and made two free throws with 22 seconds left to lead the Sooners (21-8) into the Big 12 tournament semifinals against Kansas State.
Tera Bjorklund had 15 points and Randie Wirt 13 for the Buffaloes (22-7), who made 16 of 48 shots.
NO.14 BAYLOR 80, NO.10 TEXAS TECH 72: Sophia Young had 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Bears.
Baylor (24-7) lost starting center Steffanie Blackmon with 2:37 left when she twisted her left knee on a drive. Blackmon, who had 13 points, was on the floor for several minutes before she was helped to the bench.
LaToya Davis led the Red Raiders (24-7) with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
