ACCOUNTING

Carolyn Carter has been named tax and accounting manager for Trademark Capital Tax and Accounting Inc., New Port Richey. Carter was an accountant for Perzel and Lara CPAs PA, Oldsmar.

ARCHITECTURE

FleischmanGarcia, Tampa, has named Daniel A. Carter and David H. Webb associates. Carter is a project architect for FleischmanGarcia's Tampa office; Webb is a project architect for FleischmanGarcia's Safety Harbor office.

CONSTRUCTION

Cutler Associates, Tampa, announced these appointments: David Motley, project manager; and Joseph C. Harless, preconstruction manager. Motley was a project manager for the Sembler Co., St. Petersburg; Harless was a preconstruction manager for David Gerald Construction, Tampa.

HEALTH CARE

SRI/Surgical Express Inc., Tampa, announced that Charles T. Orsatti and Joseph A. Largey have been appointed to SRI's board of directors. Orsatti has been qualified as an independent director and will serve on SRI's nominating and compensation committees. Orsatti most recently served as chairman and chief executive of Fairfield Medical Products Corp./Herman Miller. Largey is SRI's chief executive.

HOSPITALITY

Hooters Management Corp., Clearwater, announced these appointments and promotions. Appointments: Susan Garcia, controller; and Cherie Lance and Deborah Voller, staff accountants. Promotion: Annissa Ussery, to operations manager of Hooters Foods. Garcia was assistant controller for Discount Auto Parts, Lakeland; Lance was a senior accountant for Bealls Inc., Bradenton; Voller was a senior accountant at Carter and Associates, Tampa; and Ussery was an executive assistant.

OFFICE SERVICES

Thomas M. Lambert has been named president of ICC Business Credit Inc., Palm Harbor. Lambert was vice president of the commercial lending division pf SunTrust Bank, Tampa.

NONPROFIT

Metropolitan Ministries, Tampa, announced new members to its board of directors and executive committee for 2004. New board members are: Thomas P. Cornett, Steve Freedman, Tom Marler, Andy May, Drew D. Peloubet and Alberto "Al" Sanchez. Executive committee members are: C. Aging Wisely Inc., Largo, announced these appointments: Juliet Lewis, professional care manager; and Jaymie Preller, administrative assistant. Lewis was director of development for the Homeless Emergency Project, Clearwater; Preller was a patient support representative for Chronic Care Solutions Inc., Clearwater.

Mark Blanton has been elected director for American International Financial Corp., Odessa. Blanton is president of Blanton Realty Inc., Odessa.

Theresa Margaris has been named director of marketing for Alliance Exchange Corp., Odessa. Margaris was a marketing freelancer in Tampa.

TRANSPORTATION

Richard B. Marchese has been named independent director for Quality Distribution Inc., Tampa. Also, Marchese will serve as chairman for Quality Distribution's audit committee. Marchese was vice president of finance, chief financial officer and treasurer of Georgia Gulf Corp., Atlanta.
