Ex-FSU QB earns first Arena win

AUSTIN, Texas - Adrian McPherson accounted for five touchdowns as Indiana got its first victory of the season 64-41 over Austin on Sunday.

McPherson hit Mike Horacek for a 41-yard completion, and Jeff Cogell followed with a 2-yard run to put the Firebirds up 48-19 early in the third.

McPherson, who was dismissed from Florida State in November 2002, threw for two touchdowns and ran for three.

LAS VEGAS 65, ARIZONA 64 (OT): Clint Dolezel threw a 3-yard touchdown to Maurice Bryant and Brian Gowins added the extra point for the host Gladiators. Earlier in overtime, The Rattlers' Bo Kelly scored on a 4-yard run, but Nick Garner missed the extra point.

SAN JOSE 55, COLORADO 35: Mark Grieb was 18-of-22 for 292 yards and six touchdowns for the host SaberCats. L.A. 48, GRAND RAPIDS 33: Tony Graziani was 18-for-25 for 266 yards and six touchdowns for the visiting Avengers.
