A plane crashed in north Pasco County on Monday night, killing at least one person, according to authorities.
The plane was heard over the Cross Bar Ranch off U.S. 41 sometime after 8 p.m. before it went down.
Ralph Roller, who lives on the 12,000-acre ranch, said his brother, Albert, heard the plane's engines cutting out as it flew over his house.
"Seconds later he heard a thump," Roller said.
The brothers searched for about 45 minutes before finding the wreckage amid pine trees.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office was on the scene late Monday, but no additional details were available.
