1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Another mind-bender from screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation), this one starring Jim Carrey as a jilted lover having romance wiped from his memory.

2. The Passion of the Christ - Regardless of the violence and controversy, there's no denying that Mel Gibson's brutal, beautiful account of Jesus' last days is an instant biblical classic.

3. The Barbarian Invasions - Canadian filmmaker Denys Arcand's tale of a dying man's exit is full of wry, rueful wit. Winner of this year's Academy Award for best foreign language film.

4. NASCAR 3-D: The IMAX Experience - An up-close and personal look at the hard-charging spectator sport, with the sensory assault only IMAX provides. Channelside Cinemas in Tampa only.

5. Dawn of the Dead - Any remake surpassing the original is rare, but this update of George A. Romero's 1978 film does it with more gore, humor and economy of storytelling.
