RICHMOND, Va. - Junior Linnea Liljestrand scored a season-high 18, all on second-half 3-pointers, but Florida State ended its season with an 84-77 loss to Richmond (22-9) on Sunday in a second-round game.
The Seminoles (15-15) trailed 45-24 at the half and were down by 28 with 15:10 left. A 25-3 run got FSU within three with just under four minutes left. But FSU had to foul down the stretch and the Spiders' final six points were on free throws.
