ST. PETERSBURG - A 47-year-old St. Petersburg woman was arrested Friday after authorities said she robbed a bank on 49th Street N.

Detectives said Linda Maibauer walked into United Bank at 5801 49th Street N around 11:30 a.m. Friday. She approached a teller, implied she had a weapon and demanded money before leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Witnesses directed deputies to Maibauer's home, 4700 58th Ave. N in St. Petersburg, and she was arrested on a charge of robbery.
