HSN lands bit part on 'The Sopranos'

Yes, fans of The Sopranos, that was Home Shopping Network gadget guru Joy Mangano that Tony's wishy-washy sister Janice (played by Aida Turturro) was watching intently in last week's episode.

Creator of the Miracle Mop, Huggable Hangers and the Handy Hook Mirror, Mangano was picked by the hit HBO show's producers a year ago. HSN didn't pay for the exposure.

"They called us and we gladly provided them with some footage," said Darris Gringeri, spokesman for the St. Petersburg TV shopping network.

HSN's bit part, which included Mangano's name in big print and her entire line of MiracleClean products, was timed at three seconds.
