LAND O'LAKES - A 23-year-old Tampa man was arrested Tuesday, accused of sexual battery of a 16-year-old girl, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office reported.
The teen told police that Michael David Tompkins of 3702 Landings Way Drive, Tampa, had unconsensual sex with her in Land O'Lakes on Sept. 13, sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said.
Tompkins and the girl knew each other, Doll said.
Tompkins was released from Land O' Lakes Jail on Tuesday on $30,000 bail.
