With its waterfront setting, picture-perfect Main Street and access to the Pinellas Trail, Dunedin makes a great destination any time, but the North Pinellas community is really rolling out the welcome mat on Saturday.

Scottish families settled the city in 1899, calling it Dunedin, since that was the original name of Edinburgh. Ever since 1965, Dunedin has been celebrating its heritage (and raising funds for its three Celtic bands) with the annual Dunedin Highland Games and Spring Clan Gathering. So if you've ever wondered what the Light Toss (which Kyle Pennington, above, demonstrated last year while training for the games) is all about, here's your chance.

In addition to big guys hurling big objects, the day features plenty of music, dance, crafts and food including, naturally, haggis.
