Television pet trainer offers canine seminar

"Better Behavior in Dogs," a daylong seminar featuring nationally known author, trainer and educator Brian Kilcommons will be held from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. April 17 and 18 at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Pinellas County, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo.

Trainer to the stars and host of the television series Pet News, Kilcommons will cover topics from understanding how canine history affects behavior to body language, improving relationship basics and preventing problems.

Proceeds will help the SPCA of Pinellas County implement the Walter Turken training program which is helping shelters improve behavior and increase adoption rates. Cost is $50 each day. For information and to register call 586-3591.
