Eagles hire tennis coach
By LAURA LEE
Published April 6, 2004
Judy Barrett has taken over as tennis coach at East Lake.
Former Eagles coach Billy Gunther resigned for personal reasons, according to athletic director Andrea Panarelli.
Barrett, who also coached girls golf this year, responded to a school-wide e-mail advertising for the position.
She inherits a program with a solid tradition. The boys team has been to the state tournament the past three years and the girls qualified last year.
