A parade of family festivities

The final weekend of St. Petersburg's annual Festival of States includes another parade, a marching band exhibition, a waterfront concert by Styx and a variety of family-friendly events:

TODAY

Strike Up the Band Field Show Exhibition, 7 p.m. at Progress Energy Park, featuring eight local high school bands, U.S. Naval Academy Drum & Bugle Corps, Awesome Original Second Time Arounders; $10 adults, $5 seniors (65 and older) and students (18 and younger).

SATURDAY

Festival Parade, 10 a.m. to noon from the Times Arena at Bayfront Center to Bayshore Drive to Vinoy Park. Limited bleacher seats available for $6. Free shuttle service to Vinoy Park. Pickup and dropoff on east side of First Street between Fifth and Fourth avenues S; south side of First Avenue S between First Street and Beach Drive; east side of Bayshore Drive just north of Second Avenue NE; and north side of Fifth Avenue NE between Bayshore and Beach drives.

St. Pete Victory/Polaris Open Car Motorcycle and Truck Show, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Vinoy Park Basin.

FunFest, noon to 10 p.m. at Vinoy Park, Fifth Avenue NE and Tampa Bay; free until 4 p.m.

Awesome Original Second Time Arounders, noon at Vinoy Park.

St. Anthony's Health Care Corporate Challenge, noon to 4 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Kids Festival, noon to 4 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Performance Stage at Vinoy Park: Shana Banana, 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.; Strawberry Shortcake, Ginger Snap and Orange Blossom shows, 1 and 3 p.m.; the Magic of Eric Olsen, 2 and 3:30 p.m.; local dance companies, 4 to 6 p.m.; Second City Improv, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Radio Disney Fun Squad, noon to 2 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse appearances, 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Rugrats appearances, noon to 4 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Sand Sculpture Lessons by Sanding Ovations, noon to 4 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

TASCO Interactive Teen Gallery, noon to 6 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Great American Picnic featuring for-purchase barbecue dinners from Orange Blossom Catering, noon to 3 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Wonders of Nature Wildlife Show, 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Opening Act, GRAVITY, winner of Bayfest Battle of the Bands, 6 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Headline Concert Stage starring Styx, 8 p.m. at Vinoy Park; tickets $7 advance, $12 day of show, $25 reserved section available through Ticketmaster, (813) 286-2100 in Tampa, (727) 898-2100 in St. Petersburg.

Food vendors, exhibits, games and rides, noon to 10 p.m. at Vinoy Park.

Arts and Crafts Show, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at South Straub Park.
