Car show

See many antique autos at the PinMar Car Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Village, 11909 125th St. N, Largo. The day includes a display of historic license plates, children's Easter activities, entertainment and food. Free admission. Free parking is available at 119th Street (there will also be a free shuttle).

SHOW: In the tradition of The Ed Sullivan Show, Shoestring Productions is putting on an evening of fun at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Largo Community Center, 65 Fourth St. NW. It features Rick Martin's Tricky Dogs Show, a circus-style act with entertainers rescued from Florida animal shelters; the Sensation Quartet, an all-women a cappella group that swings; and Juggling Jeff, a daredevil juggler. Hosting the show will be the comic magician, Steve Hamilton. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 at the door. For information, call (727) 518-3131.

ART DEMONSTRATION: Portrait painter Sherry Kalman, a descendant of one of Finland's greatest artist Akseli Gallen Kallela, will demonstrate her skills at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. Admission is free. For information, call (727) 942-5605.

FIRESIDE CONCERT: Cliff Patterson, the "Manatee Man," and Michael Sterns, author of the children's book Kokopelli and the Butterfly, will perform at the next Moccasin Lake Nature Park Fireside Concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 2750 Park Trail Lane, Clearwater, rain or shine. Admission is $5 for age 13 and older, $3 for ages 3 to 12 and $1 for age 2 and younger. Toasted marshmallows and s'mores will be served. For information, call (727) 462-6024.

ART RECEPTION: Studio 1212 will host a reception featuring several interesting works from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the gallery, 1405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. Free and open to the public. Call (727) 446-4566.

PICNIC IN THE PARK: From 6 to 8 p.m. every Friday, the public is invited to bring meals to Largo Central Park and enjoy the new music-in-the-park sound system by candlelight. Tablecloths, candles and music will be provided; you provide the dinner. Call (727) 586-7415.

FUNDRAISER: To support Oldsmar's annual Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society, there will be a car wash from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 7-Eleven, 3855 Tampa Road, Oldsmar.

EXHIBIT: Gladys de Prias, a member of the Exhibiting Society of Artists, will display a selection of her oil landscapes through Tuesday at the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, 1130 Cleveland St., downtown Clearwater. You can see them from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
