DON'T. REALLY. PLEASE DON'T: The women's magazine Glamour is famous among fashionistas for its monthly "dos and don'ts" feature. (As in: Do wear this. Don't wear this even to spend six months alone at the North Pole.)
Out of it has evolved an annual "Don't" party, to which Glamour invites famous people and tells them to wear their version of a "don't" outfit. This year's event was Wednesday in Los Angeles, and it was hard to tell who was adhering to the theme.
Rose McGowan (TV's Charmed) shows up ready to audition for The Apprentice.
Lindsay Lohan, 17, needs to clarify whether this really is what she thinks teenage girls should not be wearing. Thousands of warring parents and daughters need to know.
Minnie Driver drags out her lounge-around-the-house-with-an-adult-beverage outfit, a purple velour-looking top and pants, and gold sandals. (Scary thought: We've seen her in worse.)
Carmen Electra's standard wardrobe is one big don't, so it's easy to conclude that her idea of what not to wear is something that demonstrates taste and a bit of traditional fashion sense.
