TAMPA - A Citgo convenience store clerk was stabbed Monday when two people robbed the store.

The clerk was taken from the store at 6101 S MacDill Ave. to Tampa General Hospital without life-threatening injuries, police said.

The robbery occurred just after 3 p.m. A white man with blondish hair, about 50 years old, told the clerk he had a gun and wanted "all the money," police said.

As the robber took an undisclosed amount of cash, the clerk was stabbed in the lower back. The suspect fled to a red Jeep Cherokee with a second suspect inside: a black man also about 50 years old, police said.
