Professional canine athletes such as Rascal, a border collie, above, will be showing their best Frisbee-catching moves Saturday at the 2004 Central Florida Flying Disc Challenge and again Sunday in the Quadruped Long-Distance Competition. Both are part of Clearwater's Fun 'N Sun Festival.

Got doggie amateurs that want to give competition a try? They are welcome, too, as the Pinellas Animal Foundation puts on a version of its annual Bowser Games from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. It's all at the Clearwater High School football stadium, 540 S Hercules Ave.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. Saturday with competitions at 10 a.m. Registration starts at 8 a.m. Sunday with competition at 9.

Spectators (both human and canine) are welcome for free both days. It costs $10 to $15 to enter Saturday and $10 Sunday. (727) 562-4800.
