DADE CITY - The Pasco County Health Department on Thursday filed a lawsuit in Circuit Court demanding the owner of a Zephyrhills RV park repair a failing septic system.
According to the suit, the Health Department contends problems at the Kozy Acres RV Park have caused sewage to puddle above ground several times. The suit claims multiple warnings were issued since December.
Health Department Environmental Engineer Greg Crumpton said Thursday no one at the park is in immediate danger or facing eviction. He said the suit was filed only to force owner Christian Robin to make repairs to a lift station.
Court records show the park was previously owned by the late Auguste Goodman and is entangled in a Hillsborough County probate court.
