Maher Darweash and his son Hamed tend the inside of the Karajal shrine near Duhok during the pilgrimage. As kisses and money are left at the sacred doorstep Maher whishes them well in Kurdish and wishes blessings on their home. Darweash will be responsible for collecting the money and distributing it to the poor of the villages.
